Unofficial results for the VUSAC councillor positions were made available following the end of the voting period on Thursday at 11:59 PM.
Voters were allowed to vote for up to eight candidates, one for each seat. George Wilson lead the pack of candidates with almost 200 votes. Next was Cricket Cheng with 170 votes. A full list of the unofficial results can be found below.
Twenty-three students ran for eight councillor positions, including two reserved for first-year students. With these elections, the VUSAC council has filled all 24 positions.
The voting period for VUSAC councillor positions ended Thursday, October 1 at 11:59 PM, with the unofficial results set to be ratified after the appeals period ends on Saturday night.

- Cricket Cheng: 170 votes
- Hannah Brennen: 157 votes
- Peter Huycke: 151 votes
- Carl Abrahamsen: 147 votes
- William Cuddy: 146 votes
- Miranda Alksnis: 139 votes
- Seraphina Vasilodimitrakis-Hart: 131 votes
Jose Ceron (67 votes), Katie Pereira (111 votes), Isaac Khouzam (78 votes), Arden Burrows (63 votes), Sam Marrello (62 votes), Zoe Ritchie (121 votes), Daniel Neiman (112 votes), Max Weiss (47 votes), Anthony Hope (99 votes), Anju Xing (104 votes), Artimes Ghahremani (113 votes), Thomas Trimble (96 votes), Zayneb Ragheai (127 votes), Amanda Gosio (75 votes), and Stephanie Spagnuolo (111 votes) were the other candidates who ran for councillor positions. Five ballots were spoiled and there were seven votes for “No.”
Both of the candidates who ran for positions on the Victoria College Council (a position distinct from VUSAC councillor) were elected. Spagnuolo and Burrows, who were both also candidates for councillor, were elected with 343 votes and 351 votes, respectively.
